Lean is a project management methodology, closely related to Agile.

Lean method involves altering the flow of production to meet customer demands by minimizing unncecessary features. The working of lean depends on following the lean philosophy, which gives importance to respect for the customer, employees and the future of the organization.

Lean is far less structured than agile, but it is harder to implement in larger organizations.
